Coastal Carolina University is located in Conway, South Carolina, which neighbors vacation hot spot, Myrtle Beach. Located about 10 miles from the water, Conway’s climate offers an awesome climate for baseball throughout most of the year. We’re affiliated with the National Club Baseball Association (NCBA), a league for college club baseball teams all over the country. The League is split into two divisions, Divison I and Divison II. Last year we competed in DII and went undefeated (12-0) in conference play and 15-1 overall so both we and the NCBA feel it is a necessary step to move up to DI this year. Teams in our division this year include Clemson, U Georgia, Georgia Tech, Georgia Southern and Macon State College. The club is open to any graduate or undergraduate students of Coastal Carolina University. Tryouts are held each fall and the squad consists of 24 people. Click the Contact link on the top of the page if you have any questions regarding the team. Hope to see you out at a couple of our games!

Club Overview

The CCU Baseball Club is designed for baseball players who are dedicated and enthusiastic enough to play for the school’s team but for any reason cannot. This team serves as a “farm team” to the school’s squad. We will travel to other schools representing Coastal as best we can and as respectfully as we can. It is an opportunity for ball players to continue using their talent on the field after high school even if they’re not yet ready to play Division I Baseball.  Overall the purpose of the club is to win against other college club teams and have a lot of fun doing it.
